It starts playing silently the moment it's on screen — so it reads as a video, not a photo. Click anywhere for sound and it restarts from the top, so nothing gets missed. In 1080p, streamed from Mux.

Click for sound, then scroll down — it docks to the corner and keeps playing.

What changed

Removed the title text, the "PATRIARCHY.COM" label, the centre play button and the poster darkening — the video is the hero.
A small play button sits bottom-left before you start; after that, click anywhere on the video to play or pause.
Wistia-modelled controls: a thin gold scrubber that grows on hover, volume, time, closed captions and playback speed — all auto-hiding.
Upgraded to the 1080p master (the old one was genuinely SD).
Scroll the player off-screen and it docks to a small corner window like YouTube — small and unobtrusive on mobile.

This block is just here to give you room to scroll. Start the video above, then scroll down — the player should shrink into the bottom-right corner and carry on playing, with a small close button. Scroll back up and it returns to its place.

On a phone it docks much smaller so it never takes over the screen, and it tucks above the home-bar. Closing the corner player stops playback so there's no invisible audio following you around.
